This site is a tribute to our older brother, Jim Philipsz. Most of you will know that he sadly passed away on 22nd January 2024 at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, 3 weeks after falling from his wheelchair at home and breaking his hip. He never recovered from surgery and eventually succumbed to pneumonia. His loss will be felt by all who knew him. Please feel free to add your own thoughts, memories, anecdotes, etc. As you know, Jim had a great sense of humour so please add any jokes or witticisms you may wish to share. You may also wish to light a virtual candle in his memory.
Jim was thoughtful and compassionate about the plight of others less fortunate than himself and supported a number of charities for the betterment of children's lives. His chosen charity is Operation Smile UK which helps children born with cleft palate deformities. All donations, no matter how small, will be gratefully received.

Dear Jim Thank you for being my friend for over 40 years and the kindness you showed and the laughs we had. RIP dear friend All my love Tink xxx
Rest in peace Jim, enjoyed our times together as children; you (Sun Bun) were a bit older and we played cowboys and indians and other fun things. Remember that gun you had to pump up to fire polystyrene balls! I lacked friends as a child and you and your family were a blessing to me, it was so wonderful that our mothers bonded in the maternity ward when Corinne was having Cheryl. And I still have the fossil you sent me for a significant birthday as an old fossil !
